ReStores Transfer Ownership to Thrift World

The stores remain open and committed to great deals and quality merchandise! This transition allows Habitat for Humanity of Omaha to focus fully on its core mission — building and preserving affordable homes for families.

Visit Thrift World

Keep shopping with confidence—every purchase still makes a difference. Proceeds from these locations continue to support affordable housing efforts in our community through Thrift World’s partnership agreement with Habitat Omaha. Just like their work with other local charities, Thrift World donates a percentage of sales to help build homes and create a lasting impact right here in our community.

Donate Household Goods

Through Thrift World

Your donations do more than clear space—they help build homes, strengthen communities, and inspire hope across Omaha.

Through Thrift World’s partnership agreement with Habitat Omaha, gently used furniture, appliances, and household items support affordable housing efforts. Please ensure items are in good condition so they can make the greatest impact. Donations are accepted seven days a week from 9 AM–5 PM at 5411 South 96th Street and 10910 Emmet Street, and from 9 AM–9 PM at the 108th & L Street location, with after-hours donation bins available.

Thank you for 25 years of impact!

To our incredible community: thank you. Your support — whether through shopping, donating, volunteering, or spreading the word — has made the ReStores a beloved place for great finds and purpose driven impact. Because of you, we’ve kept tons of usable items out of landfills and helped strengthen neighborhoods in the Omaha area for decades. We’re deeply grateful for every visit, every donation, and every share.
